Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Ethics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our research structure, this individual will play a critical role in the review and approval of research protocols.

  • Coordinating Research Protocols;
  • Reviewing submissions received by the office (protocols, IB etc.);
  • Communicating with investigators, research coordinators and administrative staff;
  • Attending meetings and acting as a liaison;
Key Responsibilities

This role will involve:

  • Coordinating all aspects of protocol submission, review, revision, and approval;
  • Collaborating with researchers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient review processes;
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files;
  • Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with internal and external partners;
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or equivalent combination of education/experience;
  • At least five years' experience in clinical research conducting trials or acting as a research coordinator or monitor;
  • Strong knowledge of the most recent Tri-Council Policy and Ethical Conduct for Research involving Human Subjects;
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills;
  • Computer proficiency and ability to use tact and discretion;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be resourceful;
