Cape Breton University is seeking a collaborative and experienced professional to join its Department of Management Science as an Assistant Professor (or Lecturer) in Business Analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing courses in Business Analytics, as well as contributing to the growth and development of the department.
About the PositionThis is a limited-term position, commencing as soon as possible, and will run until December 20, 2024. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses on campus, off-campus, and online, and will have the opportunity to engage in research and scholarly activities.
Responsibilities- Teach and develop courses in Business Analytics
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Department of Management Science
- Engage in research and scholarly activities
- Participate in departmental and university service
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a doctoral degree in Computer Science or a closely related field from an accredited university. Exceptional candidates in the later stages of their PhD may also be considered for the rank of Lecturer.
