About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for representing the company in civil litigation matters, including defamation and commercial disputes, across various Quebecor Media subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the company in court proceedings, including preparing and presenting cases, negotiating settlements, and advising on litigation strategy.
  • Manage your own caseload, including conducting research, drafting documents, and communicating with clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide counsel to internal clients on a regular basis, including advising on legal matters and providing guidance on best practices.

Requirements

  • Be a member of the Quebec Bar.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation.
  • Have excellent proficiency in both English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and strong prioritization and teamwork skills.
