Job Title: Hotel Night Auditor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hotel Night Auditor to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Woodstock South.

Job Summary:

The Hotel Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of hotel transactions, investigating complaints and claims, and providing exceptional guest service. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints and claims in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process guest arrivals and departures, including room assignments and key management.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area.
  • Exchange foreign currency and process guest payments.
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, including answering phone calls and responding to guest inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a hospitality industry setting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Dependability, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

The Hotel Night Auditor will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, interacting with guests and colleagues on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on providing exceptional guest service.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The Hotel Night Auditor will work 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
