Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Front Desk Agent to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Woodstock South. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service.
Job Summary:The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for registering arriving guests, assigning rooms, and processing group arrivals and departures. You will also be responsible for taking, canceling, and changing room reservations, as well as providing information on hotel facilities and services. Additionally, you will be responsible for processing guests' departures, calculating charges, and receiving payments.
Key Responsibilities:- Register arriving guests and assign rooms
- Process group arrivals and departures
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services
- Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
- Follow emergency and safety procedures
- Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls
- Provide customer service
The Front Desk Agent will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
