Research Ethics Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Research Ethics and Security team at Simon Fraser University as a Research Ethics Coordinator. In this role, you will provide comprehensive and timely assistance to the research community in navigating the research ethics review and oversight process.
You will work closely with faculty researchers and the Research Ethics Board (REB) to ensure that research applications are complete, consistent, and compliant with REB required standards prior to review. Your role will also involve assisting with the study review process, helping the Board to determine if the study meets the requirements of various regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and manage large volumes of complex information and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with researchers, faculty members, and other stakeholders.
- Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Manage conflicts and resolve issues in a fair and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
