Job Title: Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Sandra's Home Health Care Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities. This role will involve planning and organizing daily operations, training other workers, and determining office procedures and routines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize daily operations, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Train other workers on administrative procedures and protocols.
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage contracts, and oversee the preparation of reports.
  • Conduct research, perform data entry, and provide customer service to clients and stakeholders.
  • Recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records, Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Office.
  • QuickBooks experience an asset.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
