About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at BC Building Products Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Ensure the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse, including the management of inventory, shipping, and receiving.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate and assign work tasks, establish work schedules and procedures, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all safety procedures are followed and that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees, and provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth and Indigenous workers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Language: English
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
