About the JobThis is a permanent full-time opportunity, with a salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance. They will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues with commercial transport truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with commercial transport truck systems
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
- Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
