About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as AVP, Digital Products. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of website experiences across multiple banners within Canadian Tire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of product managers responsible for the development and delivery of website experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans for digital product development.
  • Define the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital products to align with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Drive innovation by staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital product development.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital products, monitor performance metrics, and optimize user experiences.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to release, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of digital product initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital product management or related roles, preferably within the retail or e-commerce industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching consumer-facing digital products at scale.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking abilities with the capacity to translate business goals into actionable plans.
  • Deep knowledge and experience working in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data insights to drive decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Passion for creating outstanding customer experiences through innovative digital products.
