Job Title: Digital Transformation Director

Loblaw Digital is seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Director to lead our team in building and operating the online businesses of Canada's largest retailer. As a technical leader, you will assist the team in designing, developing, and integrating services and platforms to create leading eCommerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers and software development managers in designing, developing, and integrating services and platforms.
  • Ensure consistent and timely delivery of new digital experiences across multiple web interfaces.
  • Apply the right development approach based on project and business needs.
  • Communicate project status and issues to executives.
  • Collaborate with multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver complex features.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks and provide escalation management.
  • Plan and manage multiple parallel projects.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a Senior Software Management or Director, Software Development level role.
  • Excellent understanding of agile principles and methodologies.
  • Good understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • A true leader who enables and inspires their team to do their best work.
  • Hands-on technologist who can dive deep and hold their own with senior developers.
