About the Role

Foilcon is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support environment updates and delivery pipelines.
  • Integrate and secure cloud services for applications.
  • Create technology patterns for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, including low-code and no-code deployments.
  • Support the Go-CLOUD product maturity by implementing products and features.
  • Assist in contributing to the product road map creation, service material, process refinement, communication plans.

Evaluation Breakdown

  • Cloud Knowledge and Experience - 40%
    • Demonstrated knowledge and advanced design and implementation experience with Azure/AWS/GCP/Oracle cloud providers that are of the same scale as the Government of Ontario Cloud or BPS environments.
  • Communications and Customer Service - 15%
    • Demonstrated experience of working with customers/key stakeholders and using communication skills to resolve operational issues, negotiate or document process-related intelligence.
  • Analysis and Problem-Solving - 15%
    • Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting and resolving Azure/AWS/GCP/Oracle cloud environment incidents and working with vendor partners.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, GCP, and Oracle.
  • Experience with designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
