About the Role

At WorksHub, we're seeking a highly skilled and passionate software engineer to join our team as a Cloud Architect. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable cloud-based applications using cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and scale applications using cloud services and architectures (AWS, GCP)
  • Master the complexities of cloud environments to enhance performance
  • Manage and optimize SQL databases for high-volume transactional data
  • Solve complex technical challenges in innovative ways, particularly focused on scaling transaction volumes without sacrificing resiliency
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and maintainability
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features, optimizing apps for maximum performance and usability
  • Implement and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services to support application functionalities

Requirements

  • 5+ years working on production web applications
  • Excellent SQL skills and deep understanding of JavaScript/Typescript or Go
  • Passion for writing tests
  • Experience with large ETL pipelines and complex workflows
  • Experience working in startups and growth-stage teams
