Job Summary
The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources Department at Paper Excellence. This position will be responsible for providing administrative support, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department, including scheduling, record-keeping, and data entry.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, benefits information, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and new hire orientation.
- Administer employee benefits, including health and welfare plans, pension plans, and other employee programs.
- Provide support for employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee communications.
- Assist with workforce planning, including scheduling, time-off management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain HR-related documentation, including policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of HR-related activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR-related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems, including recruitment, payroll, and benefits administration.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The HR Coordinator will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and competing priorities. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and employee relations.
