Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department at Paper Excellence. This role will be responsible for maintaining department and employee records, scheduling, and other HR-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records and information.
  • Coordinate hourly employee scheduling and manage department records.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external service providers for compensation and benefit programs.
  • Update employee information in the Archive Room and UKG system as changes occur.
  • Assist in recruiting employees by preparing job postings, offers of employment, and hiring documents.
  • Administer the base salary program for salaried employees, including salary surveys and exchanges with peers.
  • Manage and administer the Human Resources Department Website.
  • Participate in the development and communication of human resources business processes, policies, and programs.
  • Provide employee benefits services, facilitate problem-solving, and manage employee information.
  • Assist with the new employee indoctrination program through information packages and documentation.

Key Relationships

Reports to the Human Resources Manager and has relationships with internal stakeholders, including managers, superintendents, supervisors, salaried employees, union executive members, and hourly employees. External relationships include industry HR representatives, health and welfare plan consultants, and WorkSafe BC.
