The Inside Sales Account Specialist - Utilities is a key position within the Distribution & Usages business group at Nexans. This role involves managing the full sales cycle and order processing of utility accounts while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain critical business relationships with utility customers and identify new business opportunities.
- Respond to customer needs and ensure timely communication and follow-up.
- Analyze business performance and provide recommendations to drive sales growth by leveraging market and customer insights.
- Process normal product returns through the customer complaint reporting process.
- Share competitive information, market trends, and customer product demands with relevant staff and management.
- Highlight quotation opportunities to management and the outside sales team.
- Utilize strong relationship-building skills to source and develop opportunities and close sales.
- Employ excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exhibit a client-focused, responsive, service-oriented, persuasive, and flexible approach.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in an inside sales function, preferably in the electrical industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
