With a strong presence in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario, our team specializes in environmental assessments, risk management planning, and remedial design and implementation for public and private sector clients across Canada and the US.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an Intermediate Environmental Engineer to join our Project Engineering Design and Construction team, with a focus on contaminated sites. This role will involve supporting our North American team in various aspects of environmental remediation, including project management, technical reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Support strategic pursuits focused on federal sector and private industrial clients
- Work on a wide variety of environmental remediation projects, including PRB, Slurry walls, and liner/cap/cover scope
- Provide environmental advice to other GHD teams as part of multi-disciplinary project teams
- Manage design projects, including budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Develop and review technical environmental reports, drawings, and specifications
- Civil or environmental engineering degree considered an asset
- Experience with developing and implementing strategies for complex remediation and/or risk management
- Experience in the technical delivery of investigations, designs, and construction support for environmental remediation projects in Canada and the US
- Strong understanding of Canadian (including Ontario) environmental legislation
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
This role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for growth and development within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
