About the Opportunity

WSP Canada is seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Whitby. This role involves working on geotechnical site investigations, preparing proposals, cost estimates, and project timelines.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform geotechnical investigations for buildings, highways, bridges, dams, tunnels, retaining walls, slope stability, and municipal infrastructure.
  • Lead and prepare geotechnical studies and engineering reports providing recommendations on various geotechnical aspects in projects.
  • Review and interpret monitoring information from geotechnical instrumentation and testing programs.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with Geotechnical emphasis from an accredited university.
  • Registered, or eligible to be registered, as a P.Eng. with PEO.
  • Three (3) to four (4) years of relevant experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, Geomechanics Engineer, or related position.
Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience.
