Requirements

  • Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Practical Nurse (temporary or general class), in good standing
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary care and a nursing professional practice model
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the nursing care plan
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize problem-solving and critical-thinking techniques
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Ability and willingness to work in different environments
  • Ability to set priorities and organize work in response to patient needs

Working Conditions

This is a temporary 12-week position with rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. As a condition of employment, you are required to submit proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to Employee Health Services.
