About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team at Hercules SLR in Langley, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering world-class training programs to our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training programs that meet or exceed customer and employee training targets
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to build strategies for growing our training business in the local area
  • Connect with customers to discuss training opportunities and prepare quotes
  • Prepare and deliver professional training programs that promote our service culture
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through course evaluations
  • Manage the effectiveness of training practices, including scheduling and training aids
  • Facilitate increases in sales from customers through lead generation and passing leads to sales representatives

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in an adult training or learning role
  • Prior operating overhead crane and rigging experience is considered an asset
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable training over multiple platforms, including in-person and virtual
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
