The Role

We are seeking a skilled Training and Development Specialist to facilitate training programs for both external and internal customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult education and training, with experience in creating engaging and effective learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs that meet or exceed training targets
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to build strategies to grow training business
  • Connect with customers to discuss training opportunities and prepare quotes
  • Prepare and deliver professional training programs that promote HGC service culture
  • Ensure customer satisfaction as measured through course evaluations

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in health and safety or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in adult training/learning role
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel throughout British Columbia and Alberta
