Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Training Specialist to join our team at Hercules SLR in Langley, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training programs that meet or exceed training targets
  • Work with the sales and marketing team to build strategies for growing the training business
  • Connect with customers to discuss training opportunities and prepare quotes
  • Prepare and deliver professional training programs that promote HGC service culture
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through course evaluations
  • Manage the effectiveness of training practices
  • Facilitate increases in sales from customers through lead generation and passing leads to sales representatives
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in health and safety or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in an adult training/learning role
  • Prior operating overhead crane and rigging experience is an asset
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable training over multiple platforms
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
