We are seeking a Caring Support Professional to join our team in a private household setting. As a Caring Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position working 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and some experience in a similar role. A First Aid Certificate is also required.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for administering bedside and personal care, administering medications, and assisting with daily living tasks such as feeding, bathing, and dressing. You will also be expected to plan therapeutic diets and menus, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and provide companionship and emotional support.
Work EnvironmentYou will work in a private household setting, which means you will be caring for individuals in their own home. This can include performing light housekeeping duties, laundering clothing and linens, and mending clothing and linens.
Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be punctual, reliable, and flexible, with a strong commitment to client care and satisfaction.
