Job Title: Registered Nurse - TFT-2A Neph/Med Inpat

At Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Inpatient team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care to complex patient populations, including those with renal conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care planning and delivery to patients with complex medical needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Manage multiple nursing interventions simultaneously, prioritizing patient needs
  • Identify and respond to abnormal patient responses, taking appropriate action to ensure patient safety
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current certification in BCLS
  • Recent experience in medical nursing, with a focus on renal patient populations
  • Ability to use the Nursing Process to inform individualized care planning and delivery
  • Strong interprofessional and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification or recent continuing education in medical nursing
