Cross Vertical Partnerships Manager

Job Summary
Lightspeed is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Partnership Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our partnerships team, you will be responsible for driving the development and growth of our cross-vertical partnerships.
About the Role
The Strategic Partnership Development Lead will be responsible for:
- Managing cross-vertical partnerships with key strategic partners, including Apple, Google, and Uber.
- Driving alignment on priorities with key partners across multiple products, regions, and use cases.
- Owning key partner categories with high overlap across Lightspeed's product verticals, such as accounting, loyalty, and delivery.
- Collaborating with internal and external commercial and legal teams on negotiations and agreements with cross-vertical partners.
- Scheduling regular touch points with key partners to ensure they can articulate Lightspeed's priorities and how they can help.
- Acting as a single point of contact for inbound partnership requests that serve multiple product verticals and regions.
- Identifying opportunities to simplify and consolidate agreements, entities, regions, and multiple products with cross-vertical partners.
- Leveraging connections and relationships with key cross-vertical partners to identify industry trends and opportunities for Lightspeed.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience working in partnerships in the point of sale, payments, or eCommerce space.
- Proven results working across legal, product, and commercial teams.
- Experience in a global SaaS environment, preferably in a fast-growth and global company.
- Track record of setting or shaping strategy and delivering executional plans with measurable impact on the business.
- Experience engaging at an executive level both internally with cross-functional groups and externally with partners.
- Proven record of leading a diverse, high-performing team across geographical regions and experience building high-performing, inclusive teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability, while also collaborating cross-functionally with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced, and unpredictable environment.
- Unquestionable ethics, integrity, and business judgment, with a strong alignment with Lightspeed's values.
