About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Assistant to join our team at Grand Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Operations
    • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
    • Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.
    • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Task Execution
    • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
    • Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas.
    • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
    • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
    • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
    • Level earth to fine grade specifications.
    • Pave and rake asphalt.
    • Assist in demolishing buildings.
    • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
    • Perform routine maintenance work.
    • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
    • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with the construction team to achieve project goals.
    • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
    • Show dependability and reliability in meeting project deadlines.
    • Exhibit a strong team player attitude and willingness to assist colleagues.
    Requirements
    • Will train on the job.
