Position Overview

As a Construction Support Specialist at Site Construction & Renovations, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various tasks on construction sites. This position requires no formal education, and we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials.
  • Measure weights to prepare for rigging and hoisting operations.
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections of equipment.
  • Maintain and lubricate cranes to ensure optimal performance.
  • Help in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades.
  • Mix, pour, and spread construction materials, including concrete and asphalt.
  • Support medical examiners on-site as needed.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline projects.
  • Participate in drilling and blasting operations on construction sites.
  • Help frame houses, erect walls, and construct roofs.
  • Level earth to meet fine grading specifications.
  • Contribute to building demolition efforts.
  • Clean and organize salvaged materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
  • Manage chemical spills and other contaminants safely.
  • Remove rubble and debris from construction areas.
  • Operate machines or equipment utilized in construction processes.
  • Direct traffic safely at or near construction zones.
Work Environment

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment that can be physically demanding. You will be expected to meet tight deadlines and handle heavy loads, with overtime as necessary.
