Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting, ensuring accurate calculations for safe and efficient operations.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections on equipment to guarantee optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Clean and lubricate cranes and other heavy equipment to maintain their condition and extend their lifespan.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist medical examiners in charge with tasks related to site safety and health.
  • Support in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, ensuring precise and efficient installation.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, working closely with experienced professionals.
  • Help in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, contributing to the overall construction process.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, guaranteeing a stable and even surface.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings, following established protocols and safety procedures.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, promoting sustainability and reducing waste.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools, ensuring they remain in good working condition.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, adhering to environmental regulations and guidelines.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure. The physical demands of this position are high, requiring the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
