About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Site Construction & Renovations. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our construction team with various tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Measurement and Inspection: Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting, and perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and lubricate cranes, and perform routine maintenance work to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, and level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Machine Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and direct traffic at or near construction sites.
  • Environmental Stewardship: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and assist in duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.

  • Physical Demands: Handle heavy loads, work under pressure, and be physically fit to perform tasks.
