Position Overview
To support Concordia Hospital’s vision and mission, we seek a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to provide high-quality maintenance services to our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing installation, testing, analysis, maintenance, and repair tasks of varying complexity on hospital buildings, grounds, building services, equipment, and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls and make repairs as required, in conjunction with appropriate trades where applicable.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of building services and equipment.
- Conduct analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of maintenance services.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a variety of facets of maintenance in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Previous experience in a healthcare facility is an asset.
- High school education, Manitoba standards required.
- Valid certification in trade or related field (e.g., electrical, mechanical, plumbing).
Physical Requirements:
- Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the position.
