About the Role:

Signet Jewelers is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Jeweler to join our central repair facility in Markham, ON. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling, sizing, repairing, and finishing fine jewelry to predetermined quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various repairs of gold and silver jewelry, including sizing, re-shanking, soldering, prong and channel repair, polishing, refinishing, and stone setting/tightening in various setting styles and gemstone shapes/cuts.
  • Improve and advise on LEAN improvements to optimize production efficiency.
  • Participate in various team committees, such as Safety and Engagement, to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Consistently meet regular scheduled attendance requirements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Gemology Certification preferred.
  • 2 years of jewelry repair experience or Trade School preferred.
  • 1 year of equipment repair experience or Trade School preferred.
  • Knowledge of jewelry tools, machinery, and equipment preferred.
  • Ability to complete a skill assessment test.
  • Experience with polishing, cleaning, and electroplating jewelry preferred.
