About the Role:

Signet Jewelers is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Jewelry Repair Specialist to join our team in Markham, ON. As a key member of our central repair facility, you will be responsible for assembling, sizing, repairing, and finishing fine jewelry to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various repairs of gold and silver jewelry, including sizing, re-shanking, soldering, prong and channel repair, polishing, refinishing, and stone setting/tightening.
  • Improve and advise on LEAN improvements.
  • Participate in various team committees, such as Safety and Engagement.
  • Consistently meet regular scheduled attendance requirements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Gemology Certification preferred.
  • 2 years of jewelry repair experience or trade school preferred.
  • Knowledge of jewelry tools, machinery, and equipment preferred.
  • Ability to complete a skill assessment test.
