About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Owner to join our data and analytics team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and prioritizing the product backlog, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving business value through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business operations and how data impacts our success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product backlog items
  • Define and manage product vision, scope, and requirements with stakeholders
  • Monitor development progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders
  • Validate that operational requirements and acceptance criteria are met
  • Motivate the team to deliver high-quality products and drive business value
  • Collaborate with management on resource planning and ensure user training documentation is sufficient
Requirements
  • College diploma or bachelor's degree in information technology or related field
  • More than 3 years of experience as a product owner in a data-driven environment
  • Understanding of data warehouse development and Agile development process
  • Strong analytical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
