About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to join our data and analytics department at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and prioritizing the product backlog, defining the product vision, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver superior products and create business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog strategically based on business value, scope, schedule, budget, and capacity.
  • Define the product vision with stakeholders and ensure their interests are considered throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor development progress and communicate statuses with stakeholders.
  • Validate that operational requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
  • Motivate the team to deliver superior products and create business value.
  • Collaborate with management on resource planning.
Requirements
  • College diploma or bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • More than 3 years of experience as a product owner in a data-driven and/or business intelligence-driven environment.
  • Understanding of data warehouse development and Agile development process.
  • Strong analytical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
