Rogers Sports & Media in Vancouver is in search of an enthusiastic Client Relationship Manager to oversee a portfolio of direct clients within the Media Business Unit. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and enhance revenue across the premium offerings of RSM's television, radio, digital, and out-of-home assets. This role necessitates proficiency in all facets of the sales cycle, including exceptional communication, relationship management, precise forecasting, solution-oriented selling, and strong closing skills, with a focus on new business development through comprehensive understanding of client needs.

The successful candidate will maintain a roster of valued advertisers while also identifying new opportunities with local businesses, agencies, and multi-market clients or their media representatives. Additionally, they will drive revenue across various platforms and products through integrated marketing strategies, leveraging a robust suite of Digital, Radio, Television, Sports, Out-of-Home, and Advanced Advertising assets. Furthermore, they will have access to premier sports content from Sportsnet, SN Radio, SN Now, CBC Hockey Night in Canada, Blue Jays Baseball, and other Rogers Sports & Media News & Entertainment brands.

Key Responsibilities...
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for agencies, marketers, and direct clients, employing a consultative sales approach to optimize campaign effectiveness and meet client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Devise innovative and revenue-generating strategies to attract potential clients.
  • Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients.
  • Present creative sales opportunities to clients of all sizes.
  • Craft professional and comprehensive sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Client Solutions, Go to Market, Advanced Advertising, Revenue Management, Creative, Production, Branded Content & Integration, and more to effectively serve clients and drive revenue.
  • Manage a CRM (Salesforce) database to efficiently monitor all sales activities and client contact details.
  • Network to cultivate new relationships.
  • Engage in ongoing marketing and sales training.
  • Provide service to the client base in a manner consistent with Rogers Sports & Media's values.
Qualifications...
  • Prior experience in media sales is essential, with a background in Radio, TV, and Digital media being a significant advantage.
  • Outstanding presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Self-driven and results-oriented.
  • Demonstrated sales success.
  • Familiarity with the media landscape.
  • Knowledge of OMS (Wide Orbit, S4M, Operative1) is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce is beneficial.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet various deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment.
