Job Summary

At Great Canadian Entertainment, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Administrator to oversee our Internet Services, LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure. This is a critical role that requires the ability to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment to ensure smooth network operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the architecture of new network and network security solutions to ensure compatibility with our business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Manage the lifecycle of assigned systems, including performance and availability.
  • Review and analyze new requests, working with IT partners, vendors, and business leaders to understand network communication needs.
  • Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructures.
  • Monitor network performance and perform vulnerability testing.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd-level technical support.
  • Manage network security tools, including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT with proven experience in LAN, WAN, WLAN, and security infrastructure administration.
  • Post-secondary education in IT or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • CCNA certification required or suitable work experience.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
