About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Offset Press Operator to join our team at Pristine Printing Inc. As a key member of our pressroom team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our offset printing presses to produce high-quality prints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain offset printing presses to ensure optimal performance and print quality
  • Mount plates or cylinders and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired results
  • Fill ink fountains and control colour and viscosity to meet print specifications
  • Plan production methods to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Set up press and operate at slow speed to check samples and ensure print quality
  • Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run to maintain press cleanliness and prevent damage
Requirements
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Availability for shift or on-call work and ability to work overtime as required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in offset printing or a related field
  • Knowledge of printing press operations and maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
