About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Offset Press Operator to join our team at Pristine Printing Inc. As an essential member of our pressroom team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our offset printing presses to produce high-quality prints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain offset printing presses to ensure optimal performance and quality
  • Mount plates or cylinders and make necessary adjustments to achieve precise registration and color consistency
  • Fill ink fountains and control color and viscosity to achieve desired print results
  • Plan production methods to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Set up press and operate at slow speed to check samples and ensure quality control
  • Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run to maintain pressroom cleanliness and efficiency
Requirements
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Availability for shift or on-call work and ability to work overtime as required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in offset printing or related field
  • Knowledge of printing press operations and maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
