Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven leader to oversee the operations of our Environmental Services team. As an Environmental Services Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and providing exceptional service to our clients.
About the Role:
This is a supervisory position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities. You will be working closely with your team to ensure they have the necessary tools, training, and support to excel in their roles.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping employees engaged in cleaning within a busy environment.
- Monitor employee productivity and provide suggestions for increased service or productivity.
- Audit and provide monitoring for your team, including supporting all training for their shifts.
- Ensure health and safety policies are followed and implemented.
- Perform daily inspections of rooms, common areas, and general areas in the hospital.
- Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in areas such as quality, service, and issue resolution.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a similar role required.
- Experience supervising in a unionized environment.
- Environmental Services experience required.
- Healthcare environment experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to provide quality audits and training.
- Must have exceptional organizational skills.
- Completion or current enrollment in OHHA or CAEM is preferred.
