Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Kochin Kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the evolving tastes of our customers.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and train a team of skilled cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal levels and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety standards, as well as our high culinary standards.
  • Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and coaching to kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and support their career growth.
  • Supply Chain Management: Source high-quality ingredients and supplies from reputable vendors to maintain our commitment to excellence.
  • Operational Efficiency: Analyze and optimize kitchen operations to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees in their integration into the workforce.
  • Assist newcomers and refugees in obtaining foreign credential recognition and adapting to our kitchen operations.
Support for Youths
  • Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment and development.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people in their career development and integration into the workforce.
Work Environment
