Job Title: Executive Chef

THE CURRY PALACE is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Executive Chef to oversee the preparation and presentation of our menu items. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Create new recipes and menus to ensure a diverse and exciting dining experience for our customers.
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to train and develop staff.
Work Environment:

THE CURRY PALACE is a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As an Executive Chef, you will be required to work in a hot and noisy kitchen, with frequent standing and walking.
