Job Summary

Rise Air is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support to our employees and management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Retention: Assist in the development of position descriptions, participate in the recruitment process, and ensure compliance with employment equity programs.
  • Total Compensation: Analyze changes to job descriptions, participate in administering a job evaluation process, and lead the development of employee total compensation statements.
  • Employee and Labour Relations: Conduct research to ensure HR policies comply with relevant legislation, analyze and anticipate changes to legislation, and support collective bargaining processes.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Provide analytical support, develop standard and ad hoc reports, and track trends and developments in assigned functional areas.
  • Health and Safety: Provide support to effectively manage the health, safety, and security of all employees, and create a respectful and harassment-free workplace.
Requirements

Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position include an undergraduate degree with a major focus in human resources or organizational behaviour, or other post-secondary education in human resource management combined with a minimum 6-7 years of generalist human resources experience. CPHR designation and aviation experience is an asset.
