Environmental Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team at ASA Contracting Ltd.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of cleaning staff, ensuring a safe and clean work environment. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Hire, train, and manage a team of cleaning staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Inspect sites or facilities to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services and materials.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to health and safety.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
This is an on-the-road job, requiring frequent travel between locations. The successful candidate must be willing to relocate and have a valid driver's license.
CompensationWe offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development.
