The Paddock Inn and Suites Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Front Desk Hotel Representative to join our team.
Job SummaryThis role involves providing exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless guest experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities- Register arriving guests and assign rooms efficiently, ensuring timely check-ins and smooth transitions.
- Process group arrivals and departures with precision, guaranteeing accurate room assignments and updated inventory management.
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations as required, maintaining up-to-date records and communicating effectively with guests.
- Provide detailed information on hotel facilities and services, highlighting our unique offerings and exceeding guest expectations.
- Offer expert advice on points of interest in the surrounding area, showcasing local attractions and hidden gems.
- Accurately process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the day.
- Foster a culture of safety by adhering to emergency and safety procedures at all times.
- Prioritize clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, while upholding the highest standards of organization and productivity.
- Manage telephone calls and messages with professionalism, addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and politely.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, consistently meeting and exceeding guest expectations.
- Degree: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a related role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Aptitudes: Client focus, judgement, organized, reliable, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
- Language: English proficiency, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work Term: Permanent position, full-time hours available.
- Hours: Up to 35 hours per week, flexible schedule to meet business demands.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000-$50,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
