As our Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics, you'll partner with Marketing leadership to define and execute an analytical agenda that empowers our Marketing program to set and achieve ambitious goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop analytics to drive a performance-focused marketing program, enabling data-driven decision-making
  • Define and apply marketing metrics, measurement methods, and experimentation processes to power a technologically-sophisticated marketing program
  • Influence senior executive thinking and decision-making through credible representation of Marketing and Analytics perspectives
  • Partner with Finance, Business Analytics, MarTech, Applied Scientists, and Marketing teams to drive corporate reporting, forecasting, and planning
  • Collaborate with analysts and engineers to develop and improve marketing analytics infrastructure
  • Lead a team of high-performing marketing data scientists, managing, mentoring, coaching, and inspiring them to drive business impact
  • Work closely with other DS leaders to evolve and improve Thumbtack's analytics culture in a high-growth environment

Requirements

  • 7+ years of analytics experience with 3+ years of management experience
  • Proven track record of business impact in driving analytics for a growth, performance, or ROI-goaled marketing program
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with a willingness to be hands-on
  • Experience applying experiments, lift tests, attribution, and other measurement techniques to measure and optimize marketing campaigns
  • Effective analytics management skills, prioritizing high-impact work and coaching a team of analysts
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build strong relationships cross-functionally and with senior leadership
