Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Waste Connections of Canada Inc. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting new business opportunities and providing exceptional customer service to our existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other means to generate sales leads.
- Entering intelligence gathered into our CRM system for future follow-up.
- Working with operations and administrative staff in a team environment, but must be capable of working independently.
- Identifying and reaching out to potential customers to generate sales leads.
- Addressing customer concerns and inquiries promptly, providing solutions and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Traveling to client locations, industry conferences, and other events as necessary to meet with clients and prospects.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of solid business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
- Experience with contract selling will be an asset.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Knowledge of CRM tools, such as ARES or Salesforce, is a plus.
- Must have own vehicle for existing customers and new prospects.
