Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Minuteman Press New Westminster. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff, including supervising other workers, training new employees, and maintaining office procedures and routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train other workers to ensure efficient office operations
- Maintain office procedures and routines to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
- Schedule and confirm appointments for staff members
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages to staff members
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Arrange travel and related itineraries for staff members
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff member or service area
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
Requirements
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 32 to 40 hours of work per week
