About the Role:
At Le Petit Chef, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and dietary requirements.
- Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
- Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Manage kitchen operations, including budgeting and inventory management.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
