About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Graham. In this role, you will be accountable for project planning, project financials, and close-out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project schedules and milestone dates, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Facilitate regular scope review meetings with subcontractors and ensure clear understanding of agreed processes.
  • Develop and manage subcontract scopes of work and oversee implementation of Quality Control plans.
  • Procure rail, civil, and structural components, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Preconstruction to prepare and revise project reports, tracking costs and budget estimates.
  • Determine quantity of budget estimates and deliverables, providing accurate data to clients.
  • Manage project administration, escalating issues as necessary and maintaining open communication channels with stakeholders.
  • Maintain change management process, identifying change events, submitting change notices, and negotiating change orders with clients.

Qualifications/Experience

To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Additionally, you must have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing construction projects.
  • Experience working on trackwork procurement and installation projects.
  • Knowledge of steel fabrication and light rail projects.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Working Conditions

This role requires frequent travel to job sites, with approximately 30% of time spent in the field and 70% within the site office. You must be able to adapt to changing conditions and wear appropriate personal protective equipment when required.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000-$125,000 per annum, depending on education and experience. Salary will commensurate accordingly.
