This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week with English as the primary work language.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating construction activities, evaluating daily operations, planning and preparing schedules, and monitoring progress.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage subcontractors' activities ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Develop, plan, and prepare comprehensive construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against these plans.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze data and information to inform decision-making and drive project success.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, progress, and any challenges encountered.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (construction management, engineering, etc.).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure, managing stress and maintaining a positive attitude in fast-paced environments.
- A strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
- Possession of a professional certification in construction management or a related field would be an asset.
- Experience working in a team environment, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
